A two-day Capacity Building Programme on Competency-Based Assessment (Secondary Level – Generic) was conducted on 25th and 26th May 2026.
The programme was organised with the objective of strengthening teachers’ understanding of competency-based assessment and equipping them with effective strategies for implementing assessment practices aligned with the evolving educational framework. The sessions focused on enhancing teachers’ knowledge of competency-based learning outcomes, assessment techniques, question design, and the effective use of assessment to support students’ learning and development.
The programme was led by the esteemed Resource Persons, Mrs. Ruby Latha (RP127632) and Mrs. Kavitha N (RP139867). Through interactive sessions, discussions, activities, and practical inputs, the resource persons provided valuable insights into designing and implementing meaningful competency-based assessments at the secondary level.
