56TH Annual Sports Meet was celebrated in our Vidyalaya on 20/07/2024.
The chief guest of the day was Mr S Prasanna Venkatesh, International Basketball Player, Asst Manager, Indian Prasann Overseas Bank, Chennai.
The programme began with Tamilthai vazhthu followed by the prayer song.Our secretary Sri S Ravindran welcomed the chief guest. The flag was hoisted by the chief guest and the four houses of the school marched majestically. Master Tharun T of class VIII and Master Vishvajeeth K of class IV and Master Srinikesh S, the sports achievers of our Vidyalaya lit the Olympic torch and all the house members took the oath. After the chief guest declared the sports meet open, parent’s event and relay was conducted. Mass drill were performed by the students with great enthusiasm. The chief guest addressed the gathering after the annual games report. The prize winners were awarded for their achievements in sports. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by the Principal Mrs A Poorna. The programme ended with the National Anthem.
