National Science Day was celebrated in our vidyalaya great zeal and enthusiasm. The programme started with the invocation to the almighty. Miss Hemappraba S of class IX was the master of the ceremony. Our Principal, Vice Principal, our Chief guest Mrs Chitakala, Mrs Mangayarthilagam – HOD – Science, members of staff and students of our Vidyalaya paid tribute to Sir C V Raman. K.Soumya of class IX spoke about the achievements of Sir C V Raman. Class VIII girls enacted a role play on female scientist Asima Chatterjee. Class VIII boys presented a thoughtful mime on Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. Class VIII boys performed a skit on Sir C V Raman’s discovery of Raman’s Effect and how he got the noble prize. Girls of class VII performed Science Day dance. Vote of thanks was proposed by Miss Hemappraba of class IX
