Smart Speakers Club conducted ‘SHED YOUR STAGE FEAR” – an inter school elocution competition on January 24th 2024. The programme began with the divine invocation. The judges were Dr. Karthikeyan, K., HOD Management Studies and Dr. Krishnakumar, C., HOD EEE from Saranathan College of Engineering. Our Principal Mrs. Poorna, A. accompanied the guests to the diaz and initiated the event. The participants were divided into two groups namely. Group-1 are students in Std 5-7 while Group-2 are students from Std 8-9. Participants in Group 1 spoke on the topic Family Values and those in Group -2 spoke on Indian Epics and Mythology.
Students from various schools participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. Each group were given cash awards. For Place I – Rs.2000/-, Place II – Rs.1500/- and Place III – Rs. 1000/-. Judges delivered motivational speeches emphasizing the importance of public speaking skill. Ms Joan J proposed the vote of thanks.
