We celebrated our 57th Annual Sports Meet at Saranathan College of Engineering on 12/07/2025.
The chief guest of the day was Mr C Sarath Kumar, TNPL Star Cricketer, Trichy District Senior team Player
The programme began with Tamilthai vazhthu followed by the prayer song. Dr. Gayathri Mathrubootham welcomed the chief guest. Our beloved Secretary sir presented a thank you card and memento to the chief guest. The flag was hoisted by the chief guest and the four houses of the school marched majestically. Miss Divya Dharsini.R of class X, Master Tharun.T of class IX, Master Shenbaga Sriram.K and Miss. Sri Varshika of class VI, the sports achievers of our Vidyalaya lit the Olympic torch and all the house members took the oath. After the chief guest declared the sports meet open, parent’s event and relay was conducted. Mass drills were performed by the students with great enthusiasm, creatively incorporating sunflowers as props, showcasing their teamwork and coordination. The students showcased their excellence in Silambam by skillfully performing the rotating stick (stripkee) event. The students showcased their remarkable abilities by performing many pyramid postures with perfect execution. The chief guest addressed the gathering after the annual games report. The chief guest delivered an inspiring motivational speech to both parents and students, applauding the management’s efforts and encouraging everyone to strive for excellence. The prize winners were awarded for their achievements in sports. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by the Principal Mrs Prasanna Kumari. The programme ended with the National Anthem.
