56th Annual Day

56th  School Day was celebrated on 6th January 2025 with great fervour. The programme began with divine invocation.
Dr R Mathurubootham welcomed the gathering by introducing our chief guest Dr A Kaliyamurthy M.A., PhD – Superintendent of Police (Retd) -World Renowned ORATOR and spoke about his achievements. He congratulated the students for their outstanding achievements. He proudly stated that the students can attain great heights by their hard work.
Our Secretary Sri S Ravindran honoured the distinguished chief guest by presenting a memento. The annual report was presented by our Principal Mrs A Poorna. The chief guest  addressed the gathering by emphasizing the importance of education, citing it as the highest wealth in the world. He made a note that education empowers students to excel, while its absence can lead to adversity. He encouraged responsible cell phone use, citing a study that revealed 50% of Indian youth spend 3-6 hours daily on their devices. He urged teachers and parents to guide students in using technology wisely and developing moral leadership skills.

The X Board examination toppers and subject toppers were felicitated with a cash award, recognizing their outstanding academic achievement.

The toppers of various standards for the Academic year 2023-24 were glorified by our chief guest. The management also awarded the students who did not absent themselves even for a day.

The function ended with the Vote of thanks by Master Saravana Hariish – Head Boy of our Vidyalaya.
The cultural extravaganza began with the divine invocation dance – A Classical tribute to Lord Ganapathy. The primary and secondary kids exhibited their dancing talents to mesmerizing tunes with their glittering attire. The young artists flawlessly enacted dramas in all four languages: Tamil, English, Sanskrit, and Hindi. The programme ended with the National Anthem.
