54TH Annual Sports Meet was celebrated in our Vidyalaya on 25/08/2022.
The chief guest of the day was Mr Sanjay Kalidas – Industrialist , Secretary, Tiruchirapalli District Cricket Association
The programme began with Tamil Thaivazhthu followed by the prayer song. Dr Gayathri Mathrubootham delivered the welcome address. Our secretary Mr S Ravindran gave a special address. The flag was hoisted by the chief guest and the four houses of the school marched majestically. Master Sugunthan, Master Tharun and Master Oaum Prakash, the sports achievers of our Vidyalaya lit the Olympic torch and all the house members took the oath. After the chief guest declared the sports meet open, parents events and relay were conducted. Silambam demonstration and mass drill were performed by the students with great enthusiasm. Mr Balasubramani, P E T of our Vidyalaya presented the Annual Sports Report . The chief guest addressed the gathering. The prize winners were awarded for their achievements in sports. Vote of Thanks was proposed by our Principal, Mrs A Poorna. The Mistresses of Ceremony, Miss Kaavyalakshmi and Miss Sharalee of class X were guided by Mrs Kumudini-Department of English. The programme ended with National Anthem.
